The Southwest Seminar on Colonial Latin America will host its annual meeting at Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, Texas from October 13-15, 2016. The seminar will bring together nine participants who will present new scholarship and advanced works-in-progress on a variety of topics related to colonial Latin America.  Jorge Cañizares-Esguerra, Alice Drysdale Sheffield Professor of History at the University of Texas at Austin, and Kris Lane, France V. Scholes Professor of Colonial Latin American History at Tulane University, will serve as senior discussants.
